How to Apply
Registration will open at 7:00 PM on Thursday, August 28th
Step 1: Review the projects available below.
Step 2: Choose a project or two you would be interested in volunteering for. It is always good to have a backup in case your project fills up.
Step 3: Click on the project you would like to register for. You will find the application at the bottom of the project’s page.
Step 4: Once you complete the application, you will receive a confirmation email. Read over the email and note and important information.
Step 5: Fill out the required 2024 Travel Waiver & Hold Harmless Agreement at . This is REQUIRED for all participants.

Food Outreach: Nutrition Center Grocery Packing | Volunteers will assemble and pack orders for our clients. Tasks in the nutrition center include greeting clients, distributing menus, assisting clients who have questions or concerns about the menu, stocking shelves, filling orders, sorting donations, and other duties assigned. Please wear comfortable clothes and closed-toed shoes. We have a free parking lot on-site, and you can bring lunch if you would like to do so **Heavy lifting may be required. Forest ReLeaf of MO: Park Place Mulching | Volunteers will help tackle a parkwide mulching project to weed and refresh the mulch around the base of these trees. Franklin County Humane Society: Volunteer Day | Volunteers can support our animals by taking dogs on long walks or filling KONG toys to be used for dog enrichment. For those who love cats, spending time brushing, playing with, and comforting our shy feline friends helps them feel more relaxed and socialized. Outdoor activities include weeding, cleaning play yards, raking leaves, and clearing debris from the catch basin that collects street runoff.
