How to Apply
Registration will open at 7:00 PM on Thursday, August 28th
Step 1: Review the projects available below.
Step 2: Choose a project or two you would be interested in volunteering for. It is always good to have a backup in case your project fills up.
Step 3: Click on the project you would like to register for. You will find the application at the bottom of the project’s page.
Step 4: Once you complete the application, you will receive a confirmation email. Read over the email and note and important information.
Step 5: Fill out the required 2024 Travel Waiver & Hold Harmless Agreement at . This is REQUIRED for all participants.

Shaw Nature Reserve: Native Seed Collection #1 | Volunteers will work alongside ecological restoration team members to collect native seeds across the campus of Shaw Nature Reserve. Shaw Nature Reserve: Native Seed Collection #2 | Volunteers will spend a portion of their day collecting native seed that is used for onsite restoration activities. There will be an introduction upon arrival, followed by a hike to areas with specific native species. Buckets and scissors will be provided. Included in the volunteer opportunity will be a discussion of the restoration activities that occur at Shaw Nature Reserve. Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Immaculate Conception Dardeen | Volunteers will help clean the building that houses our offices, storage rooms for donated goods, some areas for stable food item storage, and the Annex building where food is stored and distributed. St. Louis County Pet Adoption Center: Doggie Enrichment | Volunteers will help to make enrichment items for animals to play with or eat, they will help to socialize the puppies that are currently housed at the Shelter, and it will be wrapped up with a Pack Walk where the group will take dogs out on a guided walk at a park that is adjacent to the shelter. The group will spend approximately three hours providing essential enrichment to the animals and will be well rewarded with licks, cuddles and lots of tail wags. | 10:00-13:00 | 0/12 | |

TASK: Clean-up & Next Steps Volunteering | Volunteers will go around our campus to help clean up after our summer camps and get ready for upcoming programs.
