How to Apply

Registration will open at 7:00 PM on Thursday, August 28th

Step 1: Review the projects available below.
Step 2: Choose a project or two you would be interested in volunteering for. It is always good to have a backup in case your project fills up.
Step 3: Click on the project you would like to register for. You will find the application at the bottom of the project’s page.
Step 4: Once you complete the application, you will receive a confirmation email. Read over the email and note and important information.
Step 5: Fill out the required 2024 Travel Waiver & Hold Harmless Agreement at . This is REQUIRED for all participants.

Litzsinger Road Ecology CenterVolunteers will remove invasive bush honeysuckle on the property. Volunteers will be cutting honeysuckle using loppers and treating the stumps with herbicide to prevent regrowth. Gloves and eye protection will be provided. A safety talk will occur onsite before work begins to ensure volunteers understand safety procedures when handling herbicide.09:30-12:000/15

LSS Hylton Point II: Board GamesVolunteers will bring a board game you love and are comfortable teaching. Residents will select from the games brought by volunteers. Volunteers will guide the game, ensuring everyone is included and having fun.10:30-13:000/5
LSS Hylton Point II: Music FunVolunteers will bring your instrument (e.g., guitar, keyboard, voice). Arrive 15 minutes early to set up and coordinate with fellow performers. Perform for the residents, sharing your musical talents. Residents will enjoy a variety of musical performances.
