How to Apply

Registration will open at 7:00 PM on Thursday, August 28th

Step 1: Review the projects available below.
Step 2: Choose a project or two you would be interested in volunteering for. It is always good to have a backup in case your project fills up.
Step 3: Click on the project you would like to register for. You will find the application at the bottom of the project’s page.
Step 4: Once you complete the application, you will receive a confirmation email. Read over the email and note and important information.
Step 5: Fill out the required 2024 Travel Waiver & Hold Harmless Agreement at . This is REQUIRED for all participants.

Delmar Gardens West: Trip St. Louis AquariumVolunteers will help assist with bringing 5- 6 residents to the St. Louis Aquarium. We would load the bus at Delmar Gardens West around 9:30am for a fun trip at Union station. The bus will pick us back up around 1:30pm. We may have time to visit other shops and things at Union station. Volunteers will be helping push residents throughout the Aquarium.09:30-14:300/6

Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. LouisVolunteers will work with participants to support them in activities like art, improv, movement, and memory games. The goals of the program are to create opportunities for lifelong learning, as well as combat early onset dementia. 09:30-13:300/5
EarthDance Organic Farm School: Farm Clean-upVolunteers will be helping with farm maintenance in the form of weeding the production beds and orchard berms.13:00-16:000/40
Equine-Assisted Therapy: Hoedown for Hope Clean-upVolunteers will be helping to pull weeds, put down mulch, maybe some painting, cleaning up the property in preparation for our big Hoedown for Hope.09:00-12:000/15
Evertrue LSS Hilltop Heights: Carnival DayVolunteers will help with setting up games and manning them during a Carnival event then cleaning up after, preparing and serving simple foods and interacting with the residents. 12:00-16:000/15
EverTrue LSS Rose Hill House: Resident Rescue CleanersVolunteers will assist with cleaning floors and corners, moving furniture on sliders, removing or adding objects to and from high places where residents are unable to reach, and dusting/cleaning under couches, dressers, other furniture. In addition, residents may ask students to dust window blinds and organize pantries, etc. 10:00-14:000/20
EverTrue-Village at Mackenzie LSS: Community BeautificationVolunteers will help us clean our community room tables. We're hoping to have a beautiful day where students can take the community room tables outside and use power washers to wash the tables. Volunteers will wipe down mobility devices and possibly tighten any loose screws. 12:30-16:000/15
EverTrue: Build Your Own Sundae BarVolunteers will assist with set up, transporting wheelchair residents to the event, scooping and manning the ice cream bar, socializing with residents, and cleanup.13:30-15:300/10
