How to Apply

Registration will open at 7:00 PM on Thursday, August 28th

Step 1: Review the projects available below.
Step 2: Choose a project or two you would be interested in volunteering for. It is always good to have a backup in case your project fills up.
Step 3: Click on the project you would like to register for. You will find the application at the bottom of the project’s page.
Step 4: Once you complete the application, you will receive a confirmation email. Read over the email and note and important information.
Step 5: Fill out the required 2024 Travel Waiver & Hold Harmless Agreement at . This is REQUIRED for all participants.

Pine Lawn YWCA Head Start: Fall into the School YearVolunteers will be aid in the removal of old items and trash, assist teachers with classroom set-up, engage with children, reading, art projects and playing games.09:00-16:000/8
Ready Readers: Book Distribution PrepVolunteers will help Ready Readers prep over 16,000+ books and resources to send to local pre-k and kindergarten classrooms. This volunteer opportunity will offer both seated or standing options. These may include assembling packets and resource binders for teachers, organizing large quantities of children's books, assembling boxes, and more.10:00-15:000/25
Ride On St. Louis: Sunshine & ServiceVolunteers will help with vacuuming, washing, and cleaning our horse trailer’s interior and wheels, as well as washing and waxing the trailer’s top, bottom, and sides to protect it and keep it in excellent condition. Around the barn, volunteers help with chores such as weeding garden beds and washing fencing to maintain a neat and secure property. They also assist with general barn duties like organizing supplies, sweeping aisles, and tidying tack rooms. 09:30-13:300/15
SEPTEMBER 20, 2025 Pedal the Cause: Gala Serving**DATE: SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, 2025** Volunteers will be serving top area restaurant dishes to participants and guests, and ensuring all areas are clean and debris-free. It involves active standing for long periods and wearing gloves and a mask. Dinner for volunteers is included.15:00-19:000/100
SEPTEMBER 20,2025 Pedal the Cause: Pancake Breakfast**THIS PROJECT IS SEPTEMBER 20, 2025 NOT MRO DAY** Volunteers will be serving pancakes & Fitz root beer floats to participants and guests and ensuring all areas are clean and debris-free.
