Seed St. Louis: Community Garden
Description: Volunteers will help with fall maintenance in the garden which could include harvesting, planting, weeding, mulching, mowing, watering, and general gardening and landscape maintenance. House of Living Stone Community Garden is a raised bed garden located on a hill area behind First Baptist Church of Webster Groves. There are 21 beds used for vegetable growing, fruit trees and ornamental trees for beautification, and several perennial beds.

Transportation Info: Volunteers will be required to provide transportation to project, carpooling is recommended.
Special Directions: Parking: Free street parking along Walker Avenue or in the parking lot off of First Baptist Church located at 3251 S Brentwood Blvd.
The garden is located behind First Baptist Church off of Walker Avenue.
Special Instructions: Have everyone bring garden gloves. All other necessary tools will be provided by the site. Other items that are good to bring are water bottles, sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, and snacks.
Closed-toed shoes are required. Other outdoor work appropriate clothing is encouraged including long pants, long sleeves, tall socks. Expect to get at least a little dirty. Do not wear clothes you wish to stay clean.
