EarthDance Organic Farm School: Farm Clean-up
Description: Volunteers will be helping with farm maintenance in the form of weeding the production beds and orchard berms.

Transportation Info: Volunteers will be required to provide transportation to project, carpooling is recommended.
Special Directions: We have a gravel parking lot with plenty of space. When you enter the farm, it is to your left.
Special Instructions: What to wear?
Clothing choices are important for not only sun safety but also protecting yourself from plant material. The following are suggested:
鈼� Dress in layers!
鈼� Wear long durable pants like blue jeans or khakis
鈼� Wear a thin long-sleeved shirt for sun and scratch protection!
鈼� Wear closed-toed shoes.
鈼� Shoes should be comfortable but durable and tough, they will get dirty!
鈼� Wear white or lighter colors as they reflect the heat
鈼� Sunscreen or sun protection should be utilized (we have sunscreen and big spray available for use as well)
鈼� A wide brimmed hat that covers the face, ears and neck
鈼� Suggested- a bandana or cooling cloth to wear around your neck or brow
What to bring?
Be sure to bring a refillable water bottle! If you鈥檙e working with us in the fields, you need to stay hydrated! You may also want to bring snacks if you鈥檒l be at the farm for a full shift.
All tools will be provided. We suggest bringing work gloves but can provide them as well.
There is poison ivy on our farm. We manage it the best we can and also have Tecnu if someone comes in contact with it.
