Franklin County Humane Society: Volunteer Day
Description: Volunteers can support our animals by taking dogs on long walks or filling KONG toys to be used for dog enrichment. For those who love cats, spending time brushing, playing with, and comforting our shy feline friends helps them feel more relaxed and socialized.
Outdoor activities include weeding, cleaning play yards, raking leaves, and clearing debris from the catch basin that collects street runoff. Additionally, volunteers can assist with organizing and inventorying donated supplies or help assemble basic care kits for our Doggy Day Out program.
