Blues&#8217; draftees and players tested their conditioning and strength in the Human Performance Lab in Walker Hall.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-conversation=\"none\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">4\/ Over 30 players took part in today\u2019s performance assessment. Thanks to <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/VictorKizer?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@VictorKizer<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/StLouisBlues?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@StLouisBlues<\/a> and their amazing training staff for visiting campus today! <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/LGB?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#LGB<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/Sn19PLsTen\">pic.twitter.com\/Sn19PLsTen<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵAPP (@MaryvilleU) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MaryvilleU\/status\/1011635143776391169?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 26, 2018<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We have high-end equipment and we use the same force plates that the Blues&#8217; strength staff uses, and we are currently the only ones in the region that have WattBikes, which are used at the NHL Combine,&#8221; says Victor Kizer.<\/p>\n<p>Kizer, the director of Maryville\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maryville.edu\/hp\/exercise-science\/\">exercise science program<\/a> and assistant professor, was asked to helped facilitate the partnership with the Blues because of a professional relationship he has developed over the past two years with the team. Student John Anderson assisted during the day of assessments.<\/p>\n<p>The Blues arrived early Tuesday morning and performed bike sprints and jump and push up tests while Kizer and the Blues strength coaches closely monitored the players.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-conversation=\"none\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">3\/ The bike sprints measured power output and were conducted on our two <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/wattbike?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@wattbike<\/a> units, the only such bikes currently in the region <a
