The Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵAPP community mourns the loss of treasured alumna Connie\u00a0Burdzy Donius, who passed away on Sept. 2. Donius graduated from Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵAPPin 1955, and was a valued friend to many in the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵAPPcommunity.<\/p>\n

Donius, who enjoyed a long career in teaching, was a generous and longtime supporter of Maryville, along with her husband, Walter Donius, who preceded her in death. The Donius University Center, a vital hub of student life on Maryville\u2019s campus, is named in honor of their family.<\/p>\n

She is survived by her two sons, Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵAPPTrustee William A. Donius, and Michael J. Donius. A third son, Thomas G. Donius, is deceased.<\/p>\n
