Each fall, Saints Nation gathers for a day of outreach called Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµAPPReaches Out. Over the last 10 years, Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµAPPstudents, faculty and staff have supported hundreds of nonprofits in the St. Louis area. Now, it\u2019s time to reach into our own community.<\/p>\n
Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµAPPReaches In\u00a0is a month-long campaign of giving that will benefit the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµAPPcommunity and our Saints in need. During the month of February, Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµAPPReaches In will raise awareness about an issue on campus and encourage students, faculty and staff to support one another.<\/p>\n
\u201cCivic engagement is a core value of Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµAPP; we believe all citizens must be actively engaged in strengthening their communities,\u201d said Margaret Onken, vice president for development and alumni relations. \u201cË¿¹ÏÊÓÆµAPPReaches In is an important step toward building a culture of philanthropy on campus. It\u2019s about having compassion for others, giving back and applying your time, talent and treasures to what you are most passionate about.\u201d<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s inaugural Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµAPPReaches In is benefiting the Counseling Center<\/a> on campus.
