Named Scholarships

Annual Scholarships:

A gift of $2,000 or more establishes an annual named scholarship. The full amount of the gift is awarded to a student, and donors have the opportunity to renew the scholarship each year.

Typically, the gift must be received by May 31 to be awarded for the upcoming academic year.

Endowed Scholarships

A gift of $30,000 or more establishes a named, endowed scholarship. Each year, one or more students will receive a scholarship based on the interest accrued. Since the original gift is not spent, an endowed scholarship becomes a legacy at Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵAPP.

The scholarship will be awarded 12 months from the time the scholarship minimum is reached in order to allow interest to accrue. An additional gift of $2,000 or more could be made so the scholarship could be awarded prior to the 12-month period for the endowed scholarship award date.
